    I’d suggest reading the report itself. No doubt there is some C of E lib-cath idiocy in there, but I’d never take a Daily Mail report on “political correctness gone mad” at face value.

    I think it was JI Packer who made the point that the earliest Christian creed was not simply “Jesus Christ is Lord” – that is, a statement about who Jesus is – but “Jesus Christ is Lord” – a statement about what true lordship is; that the crucified Christ challenges our power-centric concepts of lordship.
