If I were to buy a new computer today, it would probably be a Mac. This has removed one of my last remaining reasons to resist.
There are some people who I would find it hard to admit this to, though.

I use a mac iBook, but I can’t use Windows. But why do you want to do that? Widows was the reason I got a mac.
As they say; “An apple a day keeps the blue screen away.”
I guess that it would give me something to fall back on if I didn’t like OSX. It would also enable me to run my Windows-based programs and games, which is the big plus.
Another conversion to Mac! There’s an old song about this, actually: “I saw the light…”
The fact is, mac os x looks a lot nicer, crashes less, and can run all the same programs as MS Windows. I don’t see you having an incredible amount of software for windows alone. Or software full stop, in fact. Anyway, each to his own. I suppose there are just some Windows users who are beyond intelligent discussion regarding OSes and refuse to change their browser, just to spite their brother.
Actually, to be honest, I can see where you’re coming from, macs are a lot nicer, but software is not cheap to replace at all. Especially at the stage where people actually have a business they’d like to convert to mac. I think this destroys most people’s reasons for moving. Anyway, with a good windowblinds package, no-one would no the difference.
I also like the dual boot interface, with the two buttons on start up. That is schweet man, in windows and linux it’s just a list you press arrows to go up and down (yes, this is from much experience).
I think the Win/Linux boot loader you’re referring to is GRUB (GRand Unified Bootloader).
As for Boot Camp, I am so going to the Dark Side. As soon as MacBooks are available in a 17″ version…
Yes, it was, but no-one else would have a clue what I was talking about, see.
