    The figure caption is the Authorized Version. The Revised Standard Version reads, “Glory be to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased.” The Douay-Rheims reads, “Glory be to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will.”

    Three strikingly different meanings.
