Computerless

Being without a computer has its benefits. I have read more in the last few days than I have for quite a while. Yesterday and this morning, in addition to reading God Crucified, I finished reading Alexander Wedderburn’s A History of the First Christians (quite helpful in places, not so helpful in others), read a few chapters into Barfield’s History in English Words (promising, but too early to tell) and Eco’s Foucault’s Pendulum (enjoying it so far…) and almost finished Weinandy’s The Father’s Spirit of Sonship (very good). I might even do some work on an essay this afternoon. Finishing an essay well before the due date would be an achievement of no mean proportion for me.
