Following the failure of my computer, I have decided that I will try to live without it for the next month or so. I will still post occasionally — as I did yesterday — but the posts may be shorter and less frequent. It will be interesting to see how I get on without it.

You should get a mac mini, it would be easy to transport to and from college, and it wouldn’t be too hard to learn a new operating system.
Don’t forget your promised piece on Ro 4!
I’ll try to post something in the next few days.
Ask one of your techie friends at college to look at it. Seriously Ally, you’re still posting, it would be way better if you got it fixed.
I am actually extremely happy without my computer. I will fix it when I get home. In the last three days I have finished three books and read a considerable way into three more. I wouldn’t be doing so much reading were it not for the fact that my computer is not working.
